Mum's Monday: White Chicks

When casting this movie, the comedy element was there from the very beginning because they picked the FBI Agents and the two Wilson sisters on the very opposite ends of the looks divide, two black men and two white blonde haired women.

There is a line that is scripted as ‘I like a challenge’ because of the nature of this film, let’s hope he still likes a challenge by the end.

When picking up two Diva sisters from the airport, try to get them back to the hotel in one piece, how hard can it be? Answer, ‘Very hard’, and so the undercover challenge begins. It is brilliant, but maybe they ought to look in the mirror and realise that even though they are men on the inside, they are blonde women on the outside.

A lactose intolerance undercover FBI Agent shouldn’t eat cheese, but it does make for some amusing, if a little, correction a lot of noisy scenes.

The comedy continues when the FBI Wilson sisters go shopping. The men are out of their comfort zone, but they are willing to give their all, well, all Tiffany has to do is breathe.

A life lesson, never steal a bag from a woman, especially one who is an undercover FBI Agent. The bag might be Prada and is a treasured procession to said woman. There is great music in these scenes.

Who’d have thought an auction could be so entertaining and very expensive.

Two more days doesn’t sound long but for the FBI agents their lives are becoming a problem.

It also shows that they may look like women but they still have a lot to learn as to the ways of women, and no we don’t quit, I could be wrong, the slumber party is an eye opener and parts are amusing to watch.

Just when, whilst watching you think the plot is afoot, all is not as it seems.

It is sad to see the enemies of the Wilson sisters discussing the starving kids. If this is to reinforce how bad they are, we already know enough. So makes this part an unnecessary character development. Also as the length of the film is one hour and fifty minutes long they could leave this part out and the film would still be long enough.

Two dates, two very different dates, the undercover agent one is disgusting, but that is the whole idea. The one with the reporter is awkward and dog filled.

A part that is a little quick is when other FBI Agents are searching the FBI Wilson sister’s room and find part of their disguise. The scene is too fast in saying what we know to be the fact of the film. This part could have been scripted a bit better.

The dance off is amazing and is so well done.

Just when the FBI are needed, it all falls apart, but you can take the men off the job but you can’t take the job out of the men and luckily they go it alone.

It is heart-warming to one of the Wilson sister’s friends is not going to be a doormat anymore.

The fashion show starts off brilliantly and amusing, unfortunately it turns out to be an FBI case.

Everything they were told not to do turns out ok.

And the last word goes to Shopping!
