1,000 Words: Rainbow + Best Road trip Ever

Last Saturday I went down to Brighton for the day. Coming back around 7PM, we had a 2hr 30mins road trip before reaching Ipswich. As we were leaving, heading along the A27, we were greeted with a rainbow. It's not often I see a rainbow as full as that one. Along with the setting sun, the picturesque imagery looked stunning. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the entire arch of the rainbow in one picture, but I hope the ones we took together will show you what we saw on Saturday.

As the journey continued, it didn't stop delivering and ended up being the best road trip I've ever been on. It was the perfect time of day for traffic, so everyone was able to fast and remain at a constant speed - we neither pulled away from anyone, nor did anyone catch up with us, save from a couple who took the clear roads as an opportunity to push the accelerator to the floor and shot past us easily going over 90MPH. Along with the steadiness of the traffic, the radio was turned up and was set to Heart. It's not normally my first choice, but the music they were playing added to the atmosphere so much: Non-stop pop classics from all eras of music. There were certainly some nostalgic tracks.

It's a road trip I won't be forgetting for a long while.
