Introductory Blog

Hello to anyone who is reading this. My name is Antony Hudson, and I would like to share something that I have been working on for a good few months now. I am a writer by heart and I am using this blogging outlet to allow anyone who is willing to read my story for I feel, with this type of story at least, this is the best way to maximize the potential that I feel it has.

To give an overview of what will be coming, the story will be split up into separate parts consisting of at least 1,000 words (although multiple parts do extend beyond 2,000 and 3,000 words) and it will be following the adventures of the titular character, Sebastian Spencer, who I will be explaining more about in my up and coming blogs. Other notable characters, Amy and Tom, will be roped into many adventures as the story progresses. Again, I will be explaining more about each character in my other blogs. This story will be told in first person and will be in the style as if he was actually writing it. I felt that a story such as this could only be told as if it was told from the character rather than the writer considering the adventures Sebastian has. Another element I've added to this story is time travel. I know that that concept has been used many times before through books, TV and films, but I've always thought that it's not the time travel part that makes something original, but the story surrounding it.

I have been writing this story for some time now, and at first I was only writing it to pass the time between my other projects, something to keep myself occupied, if you will, but it naturally developed into something that I now feel is ready to be shared, and this medium, I feel, will allow me to do just that. Sure, I could have gone to any website that specialize in sharing pieces of creative writing to the public, but I decided to pick blogging for that is still a powerful way of getting people's works out there, plus I quite fancied the idea of setting up a blog for I've never actually pursued it before.

I won't give too much away for I will be explaining a bit more during the character profile blogs, which should give you a good impression as to what the story will be about.

As well as posting parts from my story, I may also be venturing into another project that I will also post on here for all of you to see.
