Just down the road from me, less than a minute away, are some
trees. Yes, trees. The reason why I’ve chosen these two pictures is not because
the way they look now, but the way I thought they looked when I was younger.
Several years ago, when I was young, these trees weren’t kept tidy and
therefore allowed to grow, and as a result, they interlocked. Four trees connected
together in one long line. During the night, my imagination ran riot as it
conjured up horror stories. Back then, the garden was filled with a random
assortment of stuff, adding to the atmosphere created by the trees.
Nowadays, now that I’ve grown up, the trees have been tidied,
although two are still together, and the garden has been emptied, it brings
that notion you get the morning after watching a horror movie and you realise
that there really wasn’t anything to be worried about.
