Whilst driving from Sudbury to home, we passed through Stoke by
Nayland, where we came across an overturned car. The first picture shows the
point of entry. The second picture, shows the full extent of what happened.
Seeing the curvature of the road, from what I can see, my conclusion is: It’s night, the driver does know these roads, but
not as much as he may believe, and is going fast; not taking it particularly
carefully. The bend appears out of nowhere. Before the driver can break in
time, the car hits the bank, the right wheels digging into the earth, stopping
the car dead in its tracks by the momentum carrying it over onto its roof. That’s
my guess, but what’s yours?
